Job summary

Hims is seeking a Maintenance Tech II for Compounding Facilities to perform predictive and preventive maintenance on lab equipment across electrical, mechanical, plumbing, air compression, and HVAC systems. You will document data, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with production to minimize downtime.

The role requires 3+ years in maintenance/engineering in a related field, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a regulated pharmaceutical environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with state-issued proof of age.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs as part of regular duties.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, and Project Management software.
• Ability to troubleshoot machinery without supervision.
• Ability to document maintenance charts and data for process improvement.
• Strong English communication skills; bilingual in Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide predictive/preventive maintenance on Lab Equipment (tablet presses, blenders, mills, hoods, coaters, air compressors, electrical controls).
• Document maintenance data on charts and logs.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment across electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC systems.
• Ensure regulatory and quality standards; maintain calibration records.
• Collaborate with QA and Regulatory teams for proper documentation.
• Assist production to minimize downtime and coordinate repairs.
