Job summary

IQVIA, a global healthcare leader, seeks a District Sales Manager in Dallas to lead a field-based sales team for AbbVie collaboration. You will align district plans with national strategy, coach representatives, and manage territory targets using CRM and BI tools.

The role requires 5+ years in pharmaceutical sales with management experience, a 4-year degree, and strong communication and leadership skills. Travel and ongoing performance coaching are expected.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum 5 years Pharmaceutical Sales experience, with a strong track record of sales success.
• Minimum 3 years Pharmaceutical Sales management experience.
• Valid driver’s license and current auto insurance.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Solid understanding of market access and ability to coach on how to utilize manufacturer tools to navigate challenges.
• Demonstrated ability to coach and counsel to reinforce product knowledge & core selling message, role model best practices.
• Ability to leverage tools and data to conduct sales analytics for the district to guide decisions and resource allocation.

Responsibilities

• Align district strategies with brand direction and develop, implement, and execute both district and account-level plans.
• Formulate district business plans that support and reinforce the national product strategy.
• Lead periodic district sales meetings designed to facilitate training and drive the implementation of the national product strategy.
• Contribute to the planning and execution of annual business plans, employee training initiatives, and regular sales meetings.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge and management of territory-level sales targets and relevant incentive compensation programs.
• Conduct routine field visits to coach, develop, and motivate sales representatives towards the achievement of sales goals; assess field activity, review work schedules, and oversee field reporting including call documentation.
