Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Project Manager 2 to provide overall direction on moderately complex projects or portions of large construction efforts. You will implement and manage project operations in support of the company vision and values.

Responsibilities include safety leadership, preconstruction support, submittal coordination, schedule development, risk analysis, and stakeholder coordination. Experience with budgeting, reporting, and Lean practices is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field.
• 7+ years construction management experience.
• Valid and unrestricted driver's license.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
• May require periods of travel and/or relocation.
• Must be willing to work non-traditional hours to meet project needs.

Responsibilities

• Leads all aspects of safety culture and ensures injury-free environment.
• Manages prestart checklist and preconstruction activities.
• Supports bid package development, schedule development, and buyout processes.
• Manages submittal schedules and reviews shop drawings.
• Coordinates with stakeholders including subcontractors, owner, design team and vendors.
• Prepares project schedules and manages Lean-based processes.
• Provides regular project status reporting and cost/margin forecasting.
• Leads project closeout using best practices.
