Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Case Manager to oversee patient access, insurance approvals, and reimbursement processes in the U.S. You will coordinate with RBMs, PALs, MSLs, hubs and pharmacies to ensure timely access to therapy for patients and families.

The role emphasizes communication, problem solving, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to resolve payer challenges and support patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Master's degree OR
• Bachelor's degree and 2 years of Case Management experience OR
• Associate's degree and 6 years of Case Management experience OR
• High school diploma / GED and 8 years of Case Management experience

Responsibilities

• Interact with RBMs, PALs and MSLs to communicate insurance approvals and reauthorizations.
• Case manage steps to gain access to therapy with patients and families.
• Report Adverse Events and product complaints through medical information.
• Maintain case history for U.S. patients across hub, pharmacy, insurance and patient support.
• Track reimbursement and shipping status of U.S. patients.
