Amgen is seeking a Case Manager to oversee patient insurance needs and reimbursement processes. You will collaborate with RBMs, PALs, MSLs and the hub to ensure timely access to therapy and accurate case histories.

The role requires strong communication, 2+ years in case management (or equivalent) and up to 20% travel. You will support patients and families, manage denials and appeals, and assist with insurance authorizations.

Qualificações

• Master’s degree or Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of Case Management experience
• Associate’s degree and 6 years of Case Management experience or
• High school diploma with 8 years of Case Management experience

Responsabilidades

• Oversee day-to-day patient insurance and reimbursement issues with insurance, specialty pharmacy, and patient support programs
• Coordinate with RBMs, PALs, hub, pharmacy, and patient/family to case manage access to therapy
• Report adverse events and product complaints to medical information and PV
• Maintain patient case histories with notes from hub, pharmacy, insurance, and providers
• Track patient status, reimbursement, and shipping for U.S. patients
• Triages and resolves initial and ongoing reimbursement issues (PAs, denials, appeals)
• Liaise with medical offices to obtain insurance authorizations
• Counsel patients and families on insurance and reimbursement options
• Identify adherence trends and suggest actions
• Report weekly changes in patient status and trends
• Manage Open Enrollment communications to ensure patient access
