Job summary

Novogradac is a national CPA firm known for real estate and community development. It seeks a Manager to lead government and affordable housing audits with a focus on PHA/HUD engagements. You will supervise staff, manage client engagements, and develop relationships while enhancing office profitability.

You will mentor staff, prepare performance evaluations, and contribute to firm publications and business development activities. Travel domestically may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in accounting or finance, with 5-8 years of public accounting experience.
• CPA license strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assume primary responsibility for client engagements, including planning, staffing, timing, technical issues and other decisions.
• Conduct thorough engagement reviews.
• Supervise and mentor Staff and Senior Accountants, guiding development and maintaining teamwork.
• Complete annual performance evaluations for assigned staff and manage performance conversations.
• Assist Principals with identifying, meeting with and pursuing new clients.
