Qualifications

• Associates Degree (A.A.) or equivalent required.
• Four years of related medical billing, insurance, customer service or scheduling experience.
• Knowledge of electronic billing, payor guidelines, and medical terminology.
• Strong Excel, Word, and financial software skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff, schedule work, evaluate performance, and participate in training.
• Review and troubleshoot complex payor accounts and denials.
• Ensure accurate documentation and timely information for patients and staff.
• Maintain department records and generate reports on billing and collections.
