Job summary

PetSmart's PetsHotel Experience Lead role focuses on delivering exceptional care and service to pets and their families while upholding the company’s values and standards. This position includes overseeing the PetsHotel, opening/closing the store, and guiding associates for a safe, clean, and welcoming environment.

The role requires 2+ years of retail supervisory experience, strong leadership, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of retail supervisory experience in a customer-focused environment.
• Leadership experience preferred.
• Full-time availability required, flexibility in schedule, able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Proficiency in computer applications.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to react under pressure and maintain composure.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates the associate experience and supports associate development, training, onboarding, mentoring, coaching, and performance feedback.
• Delegate and validate completion of daily tasks and coordinate duties as leader on duty.
• Address and administer associate complaints and grievances; recognize engagement drivers.
• Ensure pet parents receive outstanding service by telephone, in person, or online.
• Maintain hotel safety, cleanliness, and health information for guests and pets.
• Oversee reservations, check-in/check-out processes, and promotions alignment.
