Job summary

PetSmart's PetsHotel Experience Lead provides exceptional service to pet parents and pets while upholding the store’s vision, mission and values. This role oversees the PetsHotel, assists with opening/closing, and supports associates to maintain a safe, welcoming environment.

You will lead daily hotel operations, train and coach colleagues, manage reservations and health checks, and coordinate events and promotions while selling merchandise and services in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of retail supervisory experience.
• Full-time availability; ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Proficiency in computer applications.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to react under pressure and maintain composure.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates the associate experience, coaching and developing team members.
• Delegate and validate completion of daily tasks.
• Lead and direct associates when acting as the Leader on Duty.
• Address and resolve associate complaints and concerns.
• Ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming PetsHotel environment.
