JM Pet Resort invites you to join our veterinary team as a Veterinary Receptionist. You will be the first point of contact for clients and their pets, providing friendly, professional administrative support and helping maintain a welcoming clinic environment.

This part-time role requires 20–25 hours per week, including two weekdays and a rotating Saturday schedule, with opportunities to grow within a compassionate animal-care setting.

Qualifikationen

• 3-5 years in an office setting in customer service/reception
• Professional animal care experience preferred
• Highly organized and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable interacting with dogs and cats of all breeds and sizes
• Passionate about animal welfare

Aufgaben

• Greets clients and their pets warmly and creates a friendly and welcoming first impression
• Checks clients in and out for appointments and ensures a smooth discharge process
• Answers incoming phone calls and responds to emails promptly and professionally
• Schedules appointments accurately using the designated practice management software
• Processes payments, invoices and financial transactions efficiently and in accordance with clinic protocols
• Maintains up-to-date client records and verifies registration forms are current
• Communicates estimated wait times and keeps clients informed throughout their visit
• Upholds respectful and cooperative relationships with veterinarians, technicians and all team members
• Assists with evacuation of all animals if an emergency occurs
