Job summary

Tractor Supply Company’s Petsense team in Murray, KY is seeking a Team Lead to assist Store Management in operations, sales, and merchandising while delivering outstanding customer service.

The role supports a safe work environment, trains Team Members, and oversees live animal care. Strong retail experience, the ability to work various shifts, and a high school diploma are preferred.

Qualifications

• Pet/live animal knowledge is strongly preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to resolve issues ethically.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to perform and train team members.

Responsibilities

• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Work scheduled shifts including varied hours, days, nights, weekends and overtime.
• Promote a safe, productive work environment and follow policies.
• Support selling initiatives (TEAM) and engage customers.
• Handle merchandising, opening/closing procedures, and price changes.
• Assist in loading purchases and helping customers with loading.
• Ensure live animals are cared for, including feeding, bedding, and habitat maintenance.
• Train new Team Members and complete related documentation.
• Communicate job responsibilities and financial goals to team members.
