Job summary

Pet Supplies Plus in the United States is seeking a Store Shift Supervisor who will lead daily operations, ensure neighborly service, and help teammates provide outstanding care to pets and their people. You will greet customers, assist with product selections, supervise staff, and uphold PSP standards, safety, and cleanliness while delivering friendly, efficient service.

This full-time role requires a high school diploma or GED, 2+ years of retail experience, and proficiency in Microsoft

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED.
2+ years of retail experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

Reinforce PSP standards and daily management routines.
Provide leadership coverage up to four times per week.
Maintain cleanliness, animal care, safety and security.
Learn and perform back office procedures – like making signs, updating price changes, and imputing cashier records – to comply with standards and expectations.
Involvement in store recruiting, onboarding and team member development.
Communicate opportunities to improve community engagement or store performance to the team leaders.
Act as store team members when they’re not acting as the manager-on-duty.
Willingness to perform nail trims on our furry friends.
