Job summary

Pet Supplies Plus is seeking a Store Shift Supervisor to lead neighborly service and daily operations in our community store. You will support store leaders, cover management tasks up to four days a week, and uphold cleanliness, animal care, and safety standards while delivering exceptional service.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 2+ years of retail experience, proficiency in Microsoft Office, strong sales and customer service skills, ability to lift up to 50 lb, and willingness

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of retail experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Strong sales and customer service skills.
• Ability to operate equipment including a forklift and to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Flexibility in work schedule and reliable transportation.
• Must be 18 years or older and able to pass drug screening where allowed by law.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in choosing products and providing neighborly service.
• Greet regular customers and engage with the community.
• Demonstrate basic product testing or care guidance as needed.
• Reinforce daily operational procedures and performance expectations.
• Support store leaders and cover management tasks up to four days a week.
• Participate in store recruiting, onboarding and team development.
• Willingness to assist with nail trims and other pet-care tasks.
