Job summary

Gateway Services is seeking a Customer Service Representative/Route Service Representative in Nashville, TN. This on-site role requires managing routes, lifting, and interacting with veterinary clinics and pet parents with compassion and professionalism.

You will handle pickups/deliveries, document details, and maintain relationships while meeting safety and company policies. Requires a valid driver’s license and flexible hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior customer service, route-based, or account management experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Comfortable using mobile technology and CRM systems.
• Ability to work early mornings, weekends, or holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Review daily routes, load equipment, and verify items before departure.
• Visit veterinary clinics, build professional relationships, follow procedures.
• Retrieve deceased pets respectfully, with awareness of environments.
• Scan pets at pickup/delivery; confirm names, IDs, and instructions.
• Document requests and follow through on tasks.
• Interact with pet parents with compassion and professionalism.
• Unload pets at Care Center and hand off to Operations.
• Maintain accountability for each pet until received and documented.
• Serve as the primary clinic contact, address questions promptly.
