Job summary

NVA Pet Resorts in Illinois seeks a hands-on, full-time Assistant General Manager to partner with the GM and lead day-to-day operations at the No Leash Needed - O'Fallon resort. You will drive culture, service excellence, and team development while managing pet care and guest experiences.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years of customer service leadership, strong communication, and a passion for pets. This on-site role offers a clear path for growth within an expanding national network.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2–4 years customer service experience; leadership a plus.
• Strong communication skills; able to lead teams in hands-on environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily resort operations, ensuring excellent pet care and customer service.
• Coach and develop shifts Leads and Team Members to build capability and confidence.
• Manage staffing, scheduling, and labor guidelines to meet targets.
• Resolve guest concerns with empathy and professionalism; maintain safety and cleanliness.
• Support budgeting, KPI tracking, and performance reporting.
