Job summary

NVA Pet Resorts in West Palm Beach, Florida, is seeking a hands-on Assistant General Manager to partner with the General Manager to run daily operations, develop the team, and deliver outstanding care for pets and their people.

You will lead with NVA values, coach Shift Leads, manage staffing, and drive customer satisfaction, revenue growth, and performance through data-informed decisions. This is a full-time on-site role with strong growth potential within a national network.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 2 to 4 years of customer service experience (leadership experience is a plus).
• Strong communication skills and comfort leading teams in a hands-on environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and point-of-sale systems.
• Availability to work up to 45 to 50 hours per week, including evenings and weekends.
• Valid driver’s license, current insurance (including comprehensive and collision), and a vehicle you are willing to transport a pet in during an emergency.
• Ability to support and influence workplace change and improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead Resort Leadership Team with the GM to execute a shared plan for success.
• Coach and develop Shift Leads and Team Members to build capability and confidence.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and high-quality guest and pet care experience.
• Manage staffing, scheduling, and labor guidelines with a focus on productivity.
• Drive revenue growth and cost management through operational excellence.
• Foster a positive culture and engage employees through proactive leadership.
