Job summary

NVA Pet Resorts in Olathe, Kansas seeks a hands-on, full-time Assistant General Manager to help lead The Pet Ranch resort. You will partner with the General Manager to run daily operations, develop the team, and deliver exceptional care for pets and their people.

Responsibilities include maintaining service standards, driving revenue and cost control, coaching staff, and supporting marketing and local partnerships to grow memberships and services.

Qualifications

• 2 to 4 years of customer service experience; leadership is a plus.
• Excellent communication and team coordination skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and POS systems.
• Ability to work up to 45–50 hours per week, including evenings & weekends.
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle to transport a pet if needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations with the GM as a partner.
• Develop and coach Shift Leads and Team Members.
• Maintain high standards for pet care, safety, and cleanliness.
• Drive staffing plans, scheduling, and labor cost control.
• Resolve guest concerns with professionalism and empathy.
• Support marketing, lead generation, and local partnerships.
