Job summary

Pet Paradise is seeking a Front Desk Associate at our Charlotte Airport resort to warmly welcome pet parents and their guests, coordinate check-ins/outs, and manage phones, emails, and cashier duties. This role requires comfort with pet handling and physical work, including lifting up to 60 lbs.

Starting rate is $13.50/hour with $0.50 raises at 6 months from hire and on the annual anniversary date. Advancement opportunities, grooming and training academies, and various employee benefits are

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in a customer service role.
• Must provide friendly, professional service.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable with physical tasks including pet handling and lifting up to 60 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Greet pet parents and pets at resort entrance with a welcoming attitude.
• Organize and process check-ins and check-outs.
• Walk dogs for drop-off and pickup and coordinate suite placement.
• Answer phone calls, voicemails, and emails in a timely, solutions-focused way.
• Perform cashier and point-of-sale operations.
• Maintain cleanliness of entrance, lobby and restrooms.
• Support cat room and liaise with veterinary teams as needed.
