Job summary

Pet Paradise seeks an Assistant Manager for the Charlotte Airport resort in North Carolina. You will oversee day-to-day operations and staff while supporting the Resort Manager on a range of management tasks.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in a supervisory role, along with a high school diploma (college degree preferred). You’ll lead a team, ensure top-notch guest service, and contribute to a safe, clean, and welcoming resort environment.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of supervisory or managerial experience.
• Strong leadership and communication skills; team development.
• Ability to manage, guide, train and motivate employees.
• Retail, restaurant, hospitality ops, or similar leadership background preferred.
• Experience with animal care or related field is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily resort operations and staff, support Resort Manager.
• Create and post staff schedules; manage timecards and labor hours.
• Recruitment coordination with HR; interview and onboard staff.
• Coach team on standards, policies, and customer service.
• Maintain inventory, lodging calendar, and MOD duties.
