Job summary

Pet Paradise is seeking a Seasonal Front Desk Associate at our Ballantyne resort to greet pet parents and manage check-ins, check-outs, and guest communications. This role involves walking dogs, coordinating suite placement, and ensuring a welcoming, clean lobby environment.

The position offers advancement paths through our Unleashed Leadership Academy and Dog Training/Grooming Academies, plus benefits like daily pay options, pet care discounts, and PTO for part-time staff.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years in a customer service role (Customer Service, Call Center, Receptionist)
• Strong written and verbal communication with attention to detail
• Cheerful, friendly, team-oriented attitude
• Ability to problem-solve and deliver premier guest experiences
• Physically able to lift up to 60 lbs and be active for long periods

Responsibilities

• Welcome pet parents and their pets as guests, ensuring a positive first impression
• Process check-ins and check-outs efficiently
• Walk dogs and coordinate suite placement for drop-off and pick-up
• Answer phones, voicemails, and emails promptly
• Handle cashier and point-of-sale operations
• Coordinate with pet parents and resort leadership on requests
• Maintain cleanliness of entrance, lobby, and restrooms
• Support cat room and resort routines as needed
• Liaise with veterinary service team about appointments and arrivals
• Assist with harnessing pets at check-in/check-out
• Prepare suites for each pet and know harness types
