NVA Pet Resorts in Ann Arbor, MI is seeking an Assistant General Manager to partner with the General Manager in running daily operations and building a high‑performing team focused on exceptional pet care and guest experiences.

You will lead culture, oversee guest services, and help drive financial performance while ensuring safety and quality standards across the resort. This role offers growth within a expanding company.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 2 to 4 years of customer service experience; leadership is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and comfort leading teams in a hands‑on environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and point‑of‑sale systems.
• Availability to work up to 45–50 hours per week, including evenings and weekends.
• Valid driver’s license, current insurance, and a vehicle to transport a pet in emergencies.
• Ability to support and influence workplace change and improvement.

Responsabilités

• Lead day‑to‑day operations in partnership with the General Manager.
• Develop and coach Shift Leads and Team Members to build capability.
• Ensure exceptional pet care and customer service across the resort.
• Maintain staffing and schedule adherence within labor guidelines.
• Address guest concerns with empathy and resolve issues.
• Support training and certification programs for the team.
