Job summary

NVA Pet Resorts is seeking an hands-on Assistant General Manager for the Twinsburg, Ohio resort. You will partner with the General Manager to run day-to-day operations, develop the team, and deliver outstanding care for pets and their people.

You’ll lead as a key member of the Resort Leadership Team, focusing on culture, governance of operations, and achieving service standards while driving financial performance.

Qualifications

• 2 to 4 years of customer service experience (leadership experience is a plus).
• Strong communication skills and comfort leading teams in a hands-on environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and point-of-sale systems.
• Availability to work up to 45 to 50 hours per week, including evenings and weekends.
• Valid driver’s license, current insurance, and a vehicle you are willing to transport a pet in during an emergency.
• Ability to support and influence workplace change and improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Resort Leadership Team to run day-to-day operations.
• Provide strong leadership to deliver excellent pet care and customer service.
• Manage staffing, scheduling, and labor guidelines while maintaining safety and cleanliness.
• Drive revenue growth and manage costs through smart operational decisions.
• Partner with General Manager on recruiting, onboarding, and training; ensure training completion.
