Job summary

PetSuites Cypress, part of National Veterinary Associates (NVA) Pet Resorts, seeks an Assistant General Manager to lead the Cypress resort. The role partners with the General Manager to drive day-to-day operations, culture, and service excellence for pets and their people.

You will oversee staff development, financial performance, guest experience, and compliance with standards, while coaching the team to deliver exceptional care and service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2–4 years of customer service experience with leadership exposure.
• Strong communication skills and comfort leading teams in a hands-on environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and point-of-sale systems.
• Availability to work up to 45–50 hours per week, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the General Manager to run day-to-day operations.
• Develop the team and drive a positive workplace culture.
• Lead staffing, training, and performance management.
• Maintain guest and pet care standards across operations.
• Support budgeting, scheduling, and KPI tracking.
