PetSmart is seeking an experienced Assistant Store Manager Customer Experience to lead the store team in delivering exceptional pet parent service and safe, healthy pet care. You will drive staffing, coaching, and daily task execution to meet store goals while upholding our standards and policies.

The role emphasizes people leadership, operational excellence, and a strong focus on customer experience across in-store, phone, and online interactions.

Qualifications

• 3 - 5 years of retail leadership or customer-focused experience.
• Full-time availability; able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Proficiency with computer applications and store systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to react under pressure and maintain composure.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach associates to deliver outstanding pet parent experiences.
• Participate in hiring, coaching, and performance discussions.
• Coordinate daily tasks and staffing for store experience
• Ensure pets in care are safe and healthy and policies are followed.
• Manage store operations to meet sales and service goals.
• Communicate priorities and updates to the team.
