Job summary

Shields Health Care is seeking a PET technologist to provide imaging services in a fast-paced clinic environment. The role requires patient-friendly interaction, precise imaging, and adherence to safety and regulatory standards.

Candidates must hold a state license, CPR, and ARRT/NMTCB certification, with at least one year of nuclear medicine experience. On-site position with clinic teams and radiology staff.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active state license where employed.
• CPR certification is required.
• ARRT and/or NMTCB nuclear medicine certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Operate PET equipment to acquire images and measure radiotracer activity.
• Explain exam procedures to patients and ensure safety throughout.
• Maintain patient positioning, comfort, and monitoring during scans.
• Complete exam paperwork and record data promptly.
• Coordinate with Radiologist and clerical staff as needed.
