Shields Health Care is seeking a PET technologist to provide a professional, caring atmosphere in a fast-paced clinical setting across multiple sites in Maine. You will operate PET equipment, ensure patient safety, and communicate exam details to Radiologists.

The ideal candidate has ARRT/NMTCB registration, CPR certification, and a state license, with nuclear medicine experience and strong interpersonal skills. Proficiency in IV insertion and computer use is required.

Qualifikationen

• Must hold ARRT and/or NMTCB registration.
• CPR certification required.
• State license to practice nuclear medicine.
• Proficient in starting IVs and using computer systems.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills.

Aufgaben

• Follow all Shields Health Care Group policies and procedures to ensure patient safety.
• Operate PET equipment to produce images and measure concentrations of radioactive isotopes.
• Perform all hot lab responsibilities and ensure patient safety.
• Position patients accurately and provide comfort during exams.
