Job summary

Shields Health Care Group, Inc. is seeking a PET technologist to provide a professional, caring atmosphere while maintaining a fast-paced clinical environment. You will operate PET equipment, ensure patient safety, and collaborate with radiologists.

The schedule includes Monday, Friday, Tuesday, and Wednesday across multiple sites. You will follow NRC and state regulations, complete patient forms, assist clerical staff, and support a collaborative imaging team.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal skills are required.
• Must be CPR certified.
• Must be registered by the ARRT and/or NMTCB.
• A minimum of one-year prior nuclear medicine experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Follow Shields Health Care Group policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure patient safety at all times.
• Inform the patient of all aspects of their exam to their level of understanding.
• Operate PET equipment to produce images and measure concentrations of radioactive isotopes.
• Record patient data to Tech Data Entry program.
• Forward PET related data to Radiologist upon completion of exam.
