Job summary

Banfield is seeking a Client Service Coordinator to manage client and pet flow through the hospital, ensuring smooth operations and high-quality service. You will support the veterinary team, promote wellness plans, and educate clients on pet health, medications, and services.

In this role, you will greet clients, collect pet information, schedule visits, and maintain accurate records while contributing to a welcoming, efficient clinic culture.

Responsibilities

• Live and exemplify the Five Principles of Banfield within self and team.
• Actively recruit new clients by promoting hospital services and route the flow of clients and pets to ensure superior client care and maximum productivity of the veterinary medical team.
• Maximize the number of pets seen by the hospital team through an efficiently run hospital to support wellness plan clients.
• Provide professional, efficient and exceptional service at all times, welcoming clients and pets and educating them about pet health.
• Educate clients about Optimum Wellness Plans, preventative care and hospital services.
• Assist incoming clients with documentation and pet information in the computer system; ensure prompt service.
• Assist outgoing clients with instructions, invoices, dispensing items and scheduling future appointments.
• Manage finances with accurate balances and proper opening/closing procedures.
• Conduct administrative functions as necessary.
