Job summary

MSPCA-Angell is seeking a Client Care Coordinator to act as the primary liaison between hospitalized patients, families, and medical staff. You will ensure families are informed, supported, and reassured throughout the pet’s hospital stay, while collaborating closely with veterinarians and technicians.

The role combines client service with patient care in a fast-paced hospital setting, requiring exceptional communication, empathy, and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• 2+ years veterinary practice experience in a client services role or related human medical support experience.
• Experience in a fast-paced multi-veterinary hospital is a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication; empathetic and patient.
• Highly organized with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary bridge between doctors and clients during hospitalization.
• Guide families through admissions, care updates, and discharge instructions.
• Log patient data into EMR with accuracy (weight, meds, alerts, etc.).
• Provide compassionate support and clear updates via phone, email, or in person.
• Assist with discharge preparation and home-care instructions.
