Four Paws Animal Clinic is seeking a warm, organized Client Service Representative to join Thrive Pet Healthcare partner team in Columbia, SC. You will be the friendly link between families, pets, and our medical team, ensuring a welcoming and efficient visit.

Open availability, including nights, weekends, and some holidays, is requested. Prior veterinary experience is a plus, but strong customer service and communication skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is strongly preferred.
• Veterinary experience (1+ year) is a plus but not required for strong customer-service candidates.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfort with basic accounting, payments, and cash handling.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and pets with warmth and professionalism.
• Assist new clients with registration and sharing expected wait times.
• Answer phones, emails, and non-medical inquiries with empathy and urgency.
• Schedule appointments and diagnostics, and coordinate with referring hospitals to access records.
• Create appointment reminders and reschedule missed visits.
• Maintain accurate client and patient information in hospital systems.
• Keep the front desk, reception, waiting areas, and exam rooms clean and organized.
• Review charges at checkout and reconcile the cash drawer accurately.
• Support teammates and contribute to a positive, collaborative work environment.
