Job summary

Chagrin Animal Clinic, Inc. is seeking a Client Service Representative (CSR) to deliver an exceptional client experience and support daily clinic operations.

The CSR manages reception, telephone interactions, and records, while maintaining accurate client and patient files and ensuring smooth appointment tracking. The role requires weekend availability, a high school diploma or equivalent, and preference for prior veterinary experience.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates patience and compassion with doctors, teammates, clients and patients.
• Ability to collaborate with the practice team and communicate clearly.
• Excellent communication of instructions to clients and team members.
• Active listening to follow doctors and client needs to ensure quality care.
• Strong organizational skills to track specimens, meds, instructions and workflow.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the practice per manager instructions.
• Keep public areas clean and presentable, including front desk and waiting areas.
• Process cash, checks, cards and credit accounts.
• Schedule clinic appointments according to doctor preferences and workflow.
• Update client/patient files and send client correspondence.
• Send reminders and follow-up calls to clients as needed.
• Backup the computer system and post daily business.
• Greet clients with a warm, friendly demeanor during visits.
• Answer incoming calls with proper etiquette.
• Present medications and take-home items to clients.
• Handle emergencies with care per clinic policies.
• Address client concerns to ensure satisfaction.
