Job summary

Pet Services of Washington, P.S. is seeking a friendly, detail-oriented client services associate for our veterinary clinic in Bedford Hills, NY.

The role focuses on greeting clients and their pets, scheduling visits, handling payments, and guiding customers through product and service options. The ideal candidate has at least one year of customer service experience, strong communication skills, and comfort working non-traditional hours.

Qualifications

• At least one year of proven past experience helping customers.
• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
• Excellent listening and communication skills.
• Compassion for people and pets, and awareness of others' reactions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Greeting visitors, answering telephones, and guiding clients and their pets to exam rooms.
• Scheduling and confirming appointments.
• Placing outbound calls for follow-ups and prospective clients.
• Presenting and explaining fees, including processing payments.
• Recommending, selecting, and obtaining products and services, including prescriptions.
• Answering questions about products and services and educating clients on general animal care.
