Heart + Paw is hiring a Care Coordinator (Veterinary Receptionist) to welcome pets and their parents, manage appointments, and explain services in a fast-paced, pet-first environment.

You will be the face of a team dedicated to low-stress handling, client satisfaction, and seamless visits—from check-in to checkout, while handling transactions and providing information on grooming, daycare and boarding options.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service and client-facing roles.
• Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure.
• Knowledge of basic animal behavior and pet welfare is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage client schedules and document pet interactions.
• Provide detailed information about veterinary services, grooming, daycare, boarding, and retail offerings.
• Welcome pets and their parents, ensuring a smooth check-in process.
• Handle calls, answer client inquiries, and resolve concerns professionally.
• Process financial transactions accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness standards and contribute to the upkeep of our welcoming environment.
• Assist in ensuring animals receive proper care, including food, water, and enrichment activities.
