PetVet Care Centers’ Ambassador Dog & Cat Hospital in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a Veterinary Receptionist (Care Coordinator) to join our team. You will perform administrative and customer service tasks, providing valuable support to the hospital and coordinating client flow.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older to be considered.
• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Knowledge of clerical procedures and ability to organize files and records.
• Excellent customer service skills, courteous and prompt.
• Front office experience at a Veterinary Hospital or medical field.

Responsibilities

• Provides excellent customer service in-person, on the phone, and in high-stress situations.
• Manages lobby flow, schedules appointments, and addresses concerns.
• Handles basic medical emergencies for pets and owners, ensuring safety.
• Assists with medication pickups, inquiries, and information about services and products.
• Inputs and manages data in practice management software, including billing.
• Assists with retail sales, weighing pets, processing faxes, and records.
• Reconciles cash drawer and performs end-of-day duties.
