Job summary

PetVet Care Centers' Pico Rivera Animal Hospital in Pico Rivera, California is seeking a Veterinary Receptionist (Care Coordinator) to join our team. You will provide exceptional front-desk customer service, manage appointments, handle phone inquiries, and support the hospital to deliver the Ultimate Care Experience for pets and their families.

This role requires at least a high school diploma and 2 years of reception experience in a medical setting; veterinary experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age or older to be considered for this position.
• High school diploma or GED required, or equivalent education.
• 2 years of Reception experience / Scheduling in a Medical Setting.
• Veterinary medicine experience is a plus if possible.

Responsibilities

• Provides excellent customer service in-person and over the phone.
• Manages lobby flow, schedules appointments, and handles inquiries.
• Assists with basic pet-related information and services as needed.
• Inputs and manages data in practice management software, including billing.
• Supports with retail items, medical record accuracy, and daily tasks.
