Job summary

Thrive Pet Healthcare is seeking a Veterinary Client Service Representative for Reade Street Animal Hospital in New York, NY. This part-time role offers 20–30 hours per week, with some weekends and holidays.

You will greet clients, schedule appointments, enter data, process payments, and assist with dispensing medications. The ideal candidate brings a positive, proactive customer-service mindset, basic CPR?li however, the job requires at least 6 months of customer service and the ability to lift

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; AAS or higher preferred.
• 6 months of customer service experience.
• Veterinary hospital experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk throughout the day.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with clients by phone, email, and in person; actively listen to concerns.
• Enter client/patient information and maintain medical records.
• Process client payments and invoices.
• Schedule and confirm appointments.
• Dispense pharmaceuticals as needed and call in prescriptions to pharmacies.
• Perform other administrative duties as needed.
