Job summary

Thrive Pet Healthcare in Dracut, MA is seeking a friendly Veterinary Client Service Representative. This part-time role (20-30 hours weekly) involves greeting clients, handling calls and emails, and supporting front-desk operations for pets and their families.

You will enter and manage patient records, process payments, confirm appointments, and assist with prescriptions as needed. Training and ongoing support are provided in a collaborative clinic environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; AAS or higher preferred.
• At least 6 months of customer service experience.
• Veterinary hospital experience preferred, but not required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, squatting, reach, standing and walking throughout the day.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with clients by phone, email, and in person and actively listen to concerns.
• Enter and maintain client/patient information in medical records systems.
• Process client payments and invoices.
• Schedule and confirm appointments.
• Dispense pharmaceuticals as needed and call in prescriptions.
• Perform other administrative duties as needed.
