Banfield Pet Hospital is seeking a Pet Care Assistant to support our veterinary team in delivering compassionate pet care. You will help prep treatment rooms, assist veterinarians and technicians, and ensure pets are comfortable during examinations and procedures.

Responsibilities include performing routine in-house lab tests, restraining animals when needed, and maintaining a clean hospital environment. This role requires good English communication, reliability, and the ability to multi-task in

Competenze

• High School Diploma preferred.
• One year related experience preferred, with customer service experience beneficial.

Mansioni

• Prepare the treatment room for examination of pets and all necessary medical items and supplies.
• Set up fecals, smears, and skin scrapings as allowed by state rules.
• Support Client Services Coordinator, Veterinary Assistant and Veterinary Technician.
• Assist with restraining pets during examination and procedures.
• Perform routine in-house lab tests and monitor hospitalized patients.
