Qualifications

• Prior experience in animal care (boarding, kennel, dog daycare, or veterinary hospital).
• Leadership, supervisory, or team lead experience strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Strong organizational skills; ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand, walk, and be on your feet for extended periods; lift up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Oversee boarding department operations; train and schedule staff.
• Maintain clean, safe boarding areas and manage supplies.
• Communicate boarding updates and medication instructions to clients.
• Coordinate care with veterinarians and technicians for medical boarders and hospitalized pets.
• Provide hands-on support: cleaning, feeding, walking, bathing, and laundry.
