Ecolab’s Pest Elimination team in Fort Lauderdale, FL is seeking a Pest Control Technician Trainee. You will participate in a 5-week paid training program to learn pest detection, elimination, and prevention techniques, while serving commercial customers through field-based service.

As you gain hands-on experience, you’ll build relationships with hospitality and foodservice clients, work toward required pest certifications, and explore future paths in service, sales, or management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of work or military experience.
• Current valid Driver’s License with no restrictions.
• Availability to work overnight shifts, on-call during off-hours and weekends.
• Must be 18 years or older and able to obtain pest certification/licensing as required by state/local law.
• Background check and drug test required for offer.
• Immigration sponsorship not available for this role.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a 5-week paid training program to learn pest detection, elimination, and prevention techniques.
• Establish effective working relationships with commercial customers in hospitality and foodservice industries.
• Partner with customers on best practices to identify and solve pest elimination needs.
• Maintain knowledge of Ecolab’s products and services to enhance service and sales.
• Use handheld equipment to document pest and facility issues.
• Deliver high-quality, timely service under supervision and attain required licensing.
