Job summary

Ecolab seeks a Pest Control Technician Trainee in Nashville, TN to protect public health and commercial spaces. You’ll begin with a 5-week paid training program covering pest detection, elimination, and prevention, while building relationships with hospitality and foodservice clients and learning Ecolab’s product offerings.

The role offers a field-based environment with overnight hours, opportunities to grow into service, sales, or management, and licensing support as you progress.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years of work or military experience.
• Must hold a valid driver’s license with no restrictions.
• Ability to work overnight shifts, on-call and weekends as needed.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must obtain pest certification and/or state/local licensing.
• Background check and drug test (THC) required.
• No immigration sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a 5-week paid training program on pest detection, elimination and prevention.
• Establish relationships with commercial customers in hospitality and foodservice.
• Partner with customers to identify pest elimination needs.
• Maintain knowledge of Ecolab’s products and services to enhance service and sales.
• Use handheld equipment to document pest and sanitation issues.
• Deliver timely, high-quality service under supervision.
• Obtain required pest control licensing/certification as mandated.
