Job summary

Ecolab is seeking motivated individuals to join as Pest Control Technicians, offering a 7‑week PAID TRAINING program and support for licenses. This field-based role involves working with hospitality and other commercial customers to prevent and eliminate pest problems.

Training includes travel to Saint Paul, MN for one week with remaining weeks in the field, with travel expenses paid. The position requires safety-conscious work, the ability to travel overnight, and the potential for 50%+ travel

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of work or military experience.
• Current and valid Driver’s License.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Willingness to be on-call during off work hours and weekends as necessary.
• Ability to work overnight shifts as needed.
• Anticipate 50%+ overnight travel for business during peak season.
• Ability to read and interpret English labels and SDS for hazardous chemicals.
• Ability to obtain a TWIC card to access secure facilities.
• Ability to obtain a CDL with Hazmat endorsement.
• Ability to obtain required pest certification, fumigation licensing, and/or business licensing per state/local law.
• Ecolab conducts a background check on all candidates who receive a job offer.
• Drug test including THC required for all candidates who receive a job offer.
• Immigration sponsorship not available for this role.

Responsibilities

• Identify and solve pest problems for customers in hospitality and other commercial businesses.
• Keep abreast of Ecolab’s product offerings and industry conditions to enhance service and sales of pest prevention/elimination solutions.
• Use handheld equipment to manage service and document issues; use gas monitoring equipment during fumigations.
• Assist with the complete fumigation process (sealing, tarping, fumigant, readings, aerating).
• Read, understand, and follow labels and SDS forms for hazardous chemicals.
• Inspect, maintain, and utilize PPE properly.
• Follow OSHA-mandated safety protocols and customer guidelines.
• Use fumigation management equipment and electronic devices for recording/reporting data.
