Job summary

Ecolab's Pest Elimination team seeks a Pest Control Technician Trainee in Oklahoma City, OK. You will join a 5-week paid training program to learn pest detection, elimination, and prevention, and you will partner with hospitality and foodservice clients to identify pest-control needs.

Role requires a high school diploma, driver’s license, ability to work nights/weekends, and to obtain pest licensing. Training may include travel and temporary lodging in MN.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years of work or military experience.
• Current and valid driver's license with no restrictions.
• Willingness to work overnight shifts and be on-call weekends as needed.
• Must be 18+ and able to obtain pest certification/license.
• Background check and drug screening required.
• Immigration sponsorship not available.
• Possession of pest certification/license as per state/local law.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a 5-week paid training program to learn pest detection, elimination, and prevention techniques.
• Establish effective relationships with commercial customers in hospitality and foodservice.
• Partner with customers on best practices to identify and solve pest elimination needs.
• Maintain knowledge of Ecolab's products and services to enhance service and sales.
• Document issues using handheld equipment and deliver timely, high-quality service under supervision.
• Obtain required pest control licensing/certification as mandated.
