Job summary

Ecolab is seeking a Pest Control Technician Trainee in Jacksonville, FL. You will protect public health and commercial facilities by delivering science-based pest elimination solutions and undergo a 5-week paid training to learn detection, elimination, and prevention techniques.

You’ll work a Sunday-Thursday overnight shift, gain licensing, and have opportunities to grow into service, sales, or management roles within a field-based, customer-focused environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years of work or military experience.
• Current and valid Driver’s License with no restrictions.
• Willingness to work overnight shifts and be on call on weekends.
• Must be 18+ years old.
• Pest certification and/or business licensing per state/local law.
• Background check and drug test required for job offers.
• Immigration sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

• Attend a 5-week paid training to learn pest detection and elimination.
• Build relationships with commercial customers in hospitality and foodservice.
• Partner with customers on best practices for pest elimination.
• Maintain knowledge of Ecolab’s products and services to enhance service and sales.
• Document issues using handheld equipment.
• Deliver high-quality service under supervision.
• Obtain required pest control licensing as mandated.
