Job summary

Ecolab is seeking a Pest Control Technician Trainee for the Long Island, NY area. You will join a focused pest elimination team and receive extensive training to protect public health and commercial sites.

Work week is Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm, with a 5-week paid training and upfront licensing steps. This role offers hands-on field experience, growth into service, sales, or management, and a pathway to industry certifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of work or military experience.
• Current and valid Driver’s License with no restrictions.
• Must be 18+ and able to work overnight shifts and weekends.
• Must obtain pest certification and/or business licensing as required.
• Background check and drug test required by contract terms.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a 5-week paid training program to learn pest detection, elimination, and prevention techniques.
• Establish relationships with commercial customers in hospitality and foodservice.
• Partner with customers on best practices to identify pest elimination needs.
• Maintain knowledge of Ecolab products and services to enhance service and sales.
• Use handheld equipment to document pest issues and service notes.
• Deliver timely, high-quality service under supervision and obtain required licensing.
