Job summary

Ecolab is seeking a Pest Control Technician Trainee to join our team in San Antonio, TX. As a trainee, you’ll be at the forefront of protecting public health and commercial facilities by delivering science-based pest elimination solutions and gaining valuable certifications.

You’ll participate in a 5-week paid training, work night shifts Sunday through Thursday 5:00 PM to 5:00 AM, and travel to Eagan, MN for one week during training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of work or military experience.
• Current, valid driver's license with no restrictions.
• Availability to work overnight shifts and be on call during off-hours and weekends.
• Must be 18+ and eligible to obtain pest certification and/or business licensing.
• Background check and drug test required; immigration sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a 5-week paid training program to learn pest detection, elimination, and prevention techniques.
• Establish relationships with commercial customers, including hospitality and foodservice.
• Partner with customers on best practices to identify pest elimination needs.
• Document structural, sanitation, and pest issues using handheld equipment.
• Deliver timely, high quality service under supervision.
