Job summary

Ecolab is seeking a Pest Control Technician Trainee to join our team in Harrisburg, VA. You will participate in a 5-week paid training program, learning pest detection and elimination techniques while building relationships with commercial customers in hospitality and foodservice.

You will gain certification, work in a field-based environment, and have opportunities in service, sales, or management as you grow with the company.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of work or military experience.
• Current and valid Driver’s License with no restrictions.
• Availability to work overnight shifts and be on call during off-hours and weekends.
• Must be 18+ years old.
• Must obtain pest certification and/or business licensing as required by state/local law.
• Background check will be conducted.
• Drug test including THC required for all offers.
• Immigration sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a 5-week paid training program to learn pest detection, elimination, and prevention techniques.
• Establish relationships with commercial customers in hospitality and foodservice.
• Partner with customers on best practices to identify pest elimination needs.
• Maintain knowledge of Ecolab’s products to enhance service and sales.
• Document issues with handheld equipment.
• Deliver high-quality service under supervision.
