Job summary

Ecolab is seeking a Pest Control Technician Trainee to join our Harrisburg, PA team. You’ll participate in a structured 5-week paid training program to learn pest detection, elimination, and prevention while establishing relationships with commercial customers.

As you grow, you’ll gain certifications, work toward licensing, and deliver science-based solutions to protect public health and customer brands. Training includes field exposure and hands-on practice.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years of work or military experience.
• Current and valid Driver’s License with no restrictions.
• Availability to work overnight shifts; weekends may be required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must obtain pest certification and/or business licensing as required by state/local law.
• Background check and drug test required after offer.
• Immigration sponsorship is not available for this role.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a 5-week paid training program to learn pest detection, elimination, and prevention techniques.
• Establish relationships with commercial customers, including hospitality and foodservice industries.
• Partner with customers to identify and solve pest elimination needs.
• Maintain knowledge of Ecolab’s products and services to enhance service and sales.
• Use handheld equipment to document pest issues and sanitation concerns.
• Deliver timely, cost-effective service under close supervision; obtain required licenses.
