Job summary

Ecolab in Houghton, MI is seeking a Pest Control Technician Trainee to protect public health and commercial facilities through science-based pest elimination. You will participate in paid training and gain skills for a long-term career in service, sales, or management.

Through hands-on experience, you’ll work with customers, document issues with handheld devices, and learn licensing requirements while earning competitive pay.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of work or military experience.
• Valid driver’s license with no restrictions.
• Willingness to work overnight shifts and be on call.
• Must be 18+ and obtain pest licensing.
• Background check and drug test required.
• No immigration sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a 5-week paid training program.
• Establish relationships with commercial customers, including hospitality and foodservice.
• Identify and solve pest elimination needs with customers.
• Maintain knowledge of Ecolab’s products and services.
• Use handheld equipment to document issues and keep records.
• Deliver high-quality service under supervision.
