Job summary

ECOLAB’s Pest Elimination team is seeking a Pest Control Technician Trainee in Pasadena, CA. You will start with a 5-week paid training program to learn pest detection, elimination, and prevention techniques while earning income.

You will partner with commercial customers in hospitality and foodservice, then grow toward a career in service, sales or management. Night shift; requires a valid driver’s license and field-based work.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of work or military experience.
• Current and valid Driver's License with no restrictions.
• Willingness to work overnight shifts and weekends as needed.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must obtain pest certification and/or business licensing as required by state/local law.
• Background check and drug test required for offer.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a 5-week paid training program to learn pest detection, elimination, and prevention techniques.
• Establish relationships with commercial customers, including hospitality and foodservice.
• Partner with customers on best practices to identify and solve pest needs.
• Maintain knowledge of Ecolab's products and services to enhance service and sales.
• Use handheld equipment to document pest and structural issues.
• Deliver high-quality service under supervision.
